Visit of Heisenberg Gymnasium
The German School from Heisenberg visited Mitraniketan in February 2024 as part of their UNESCO school program and to support Mitraniketan school through voluntary work. The school use to visit Mitraniketan since 1993, but this was the first visit after covid. A group 29 students and teachers/parents spent 2 weeks at Mitraniketan from 12-24 February. Mr. Daniel, Ms. Liz, Ms. Ondine and Mr. Dietmar are the teachers lead the group. Interactions with local students are opportunity for mutual learning. The Games Day organized by German students gave way for active participation of local students.
